Stephanie Kuzma

POSITION: Junior Director

I was born in Cincinnati and have dedicated much of my time to the community both personally and professionally. Currently, I have found my place as a Development Manager for the local nonprofit ProKids. This work is what brought me first to Cincy YP and then to Give Back Cincinnati.

What I do for Cincy YP:
As Junior Director for Cincy YP, I worked closely with Give Back Cincinnati to ensure the successful transition of Cincy YP to GBC program. In my current role, I work to strengthen the personal & professional relationships within and external to Cincy YP. I also act as the first point of contact for our Cincy YP membership and our outside community. By providing support and resources to Cincy YP officers in their roles, I am able to use my knowledge and enthusiasm to further our mission and reach our benchmarks. It is a very exciting time to be involved!

What Cincy YP means to me:
When I was younger, I always planned to leave Cincinnati as quickly as I could. Yet as I began to experience our city as an adult, I learned we have amazing opportunities to grow and cultural experiences unique to our city size and our population. Instead of leaving, I have dedicated my time to organizations that actively make a meaningful impact on our people and our city. In my small way, I want to be a part of transforming our city into a welcoming landscape for new and current residents alike. As a part of Cincy YP, I get to share the treasures of our city and the talents of our community with those that would make Cincinnati their home. It is a joy to do this work!

Favorite Cincy YP Event:
My favorite Cincy YP Event is our most recent quarterly happy hour. More than 100 local young professionals from over 20 companies joined us for an evening of networking, food, and prizes.

Fun Fact:
A few years ago I traveled with a conglomerate of university students to Israel where I spent 8 weeks working on an archeological dig outside of Nazareth. While there, we stayed in a local Kibbutz community and helped out where we could. Though the experience was incredibly engaging and challenging (and hot!), traveling to Nola with GBC Beyond is now my favorite trip taken.
